On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared Covid-19 a pandemic. That moment marked the beginning of a new cycle for humanity, marked by very significant changes in personal, social and professional relationships.
The health crisis has become globalized and social isolation measures have been adopted all over the world, which have had a significant impact on our collective lives. One of the areas most affected is citizen participation, with many processes suspended and others adjusted to digital media.
Determined to contribute to the recovery of these initiatives, the Participatory Municipalities Network (RAP) organized the Forum "Recovering Civic Participation in Portugal", with a programme of debates aimed at reflecting on the current situation and pointing out lines of action for the future.
